As these have to be in the model to work I put small squares with these colors on the side of each FlexTools windows. I also modified the dynamic dialog box with a list of common window trim colors. I agree doors are different than windows so the origin at the bottom corner is fine so the door locates at the floor. I use guide lines a lot, I know some dont but with the center of head origin of the window I can quickly set a few guide lines and place a series of windows then edit specific sizes so yes I think its a benefit your users would like.
As an Architect its common practice to dimension windows and doors to the center so placing them to the desired location then sizing them without having to move them again is very nice. I have made the changes to my windows and like it.
